Datametrics Corporation's CEO exhibits the new IPS3300™ Printing System at the International Sign Association's 2001 Sign Expo.

Wednesday, March 21, 2001, Datametrics Corporation (OTCBB: DMTR) Chief Executive Officer, Vince Cahill, will unveil the new IPS3300™ printing system at the International Sign Association's 2001 Sign Expo in Las Vegas, March 22-24. This new industrial printing system presents an economical solution for printing flexible retro-reflective and standard vinyl, polyester, polycarbonate, cardboard, paper and other flexible materials. Its users can produce signs, unregulated license plates, decals, labels, nameplates, tickets and other print products.

The IPS3300™ is a high speed (900 sq. feet per hour), four-color thermal printer that offers exceptional resolution and functionality with ease of operation and maintenance. DmC Industrial Imaging Systems (DmC IIS), a division of Datametrics Corporation, has developed and integrated this new printer with Amberware™ a graphic user interface (GUI) program. In addition, the Company will outfit the IPS3300™ printing system with a proprietary media identification system used to automatically configure the printer's performance parameters to provide optimal print results based on the installed media/ribbon combination. These features greatly reduce the time necessary for setup changes and to train operators while enhancing ease of use.
